CLement Venturini : "Raise the arms in victory"
"I have not raced in France since the Etoile de Bessèges in February. I'm happy to start this type of event. With Tirreno - Adriatico, Milan San-Remo and Gent-Wevelgem, I have competed in a succession of beautiful UCI WorldTour races. When taking part in the Route Adélie, perhaps the pressure is not the same, but I still want to do well and raise my arms in victory for the first time this season. I know that my form is good. I already took second at this race in 2016, so I am confident but I remain cautious. The Breton roads are difficult, and a lot of things can happen during a race. After Adélie, I will follow up with the Circuit de la Sarthe (April 9-12).”CLEMENT VENTURINI
The AG2R LA MONDIALE team has won the Route Adélie four times. Estonian Jan Kirsipuu won twice (1998 - 2001), while Samuel Dumoulin won it himself in 2006. Last year, Silvan Dillier won the Route Adélie as his first race back after returning from injury.
Reconnoitering the roads of Dwars door Vlaanderen
Silvan Dillier, Dorian Godon, Nico Denz, Julien Duval and Gediminas Bagdonas had a reconnaissance ride this morning that took in the last fifty kilometers of Dwars door Vlaanderen.
