EKOI is a French cycling equipment and helmet brand created in 2001 that sells throughout the world via its website, translated into 10 languages.
In the space of a few short years, EKOI has become a leading brand in Europe and their helmet deal with the AG2R pro-cycle team has clearly been a contributing factor. The team gives the brand international visibility but also actively helps to develop innovative, high-performance products for its riders, and these innovations differentiate the brand from its competitors.
For the 2019 season, EKOI has designed no fewer than 3 new helmets to help the team to perform at the highest possible level but also for its customers, who can purchase these products on the EKOI site at affordable prices.
As well as the new EKOI Helio helmet (a very light, well-ventilated model manufactured in Spain) to be worn by the team for a large part of the season, the riders will use the following models:
- EKOI legend helmet: this is Romain BARDET’s preferred model with its vintage look and ultra-efficient ventilation (100% made in Italy).
- The EKOI AR14 helmet: an aerodynamic model designed for early season classics and for sprinters;
- The EKOI RB3 time trial helmet: this helmet is not for public sale. It has been designed and tested in punishing wind tunnels for individual or team time trials.
The partnership with AG2R LA MONDIALE brings with it a real innovation challenge with precise targets in terms of weight, comfort and aerodynamics, forcing the brand to evolve.
