Oliver Naesen : "The team was super strong"

"The team was super strong and I felt good too, I thought it was going to be a sprint and I focused on that. Alexis Vuillermoz put me a great position going into the corner. I took Colbrelli’s wheel. I hoped he was going to die before the line but he ended up being very strong. So I was beaten by the top three riders in the race. I am satisfied with my performance.
For me, the season is now practically over.”

With his fourth place, Oliver Naesen is now 14th in the UCI WorldTour rankings. He gained six places.

Taking 4th three times out of four

Oliver Naesen is the third rider for AG2R LA MODIALE to finish fourth in the Grand Prix Cyclistes Quebec and Montreal in four races after Alexis Vuillermoz (Quebec 2017) and Jan Bakelants (Montreal 2017).
