LARRY WARBASSE : “An extreme day”
“We got through an extreme day with cold and rain and a lot of climbing. The breakaway took a very long time to take shape. I knew that today if you were at the front it would be possible to win. Obviously, I’m disappointed, but I don’t see what more I could have done. The Giro d’Italia is my seventh Grand Tour and it’s the first time I’ve finished in the top five of a stage. Now I will enjoy the day off. “LARRY WARBASSE
Oliver Naesen 14th in Gent-Wevelgem
"Oliver Naesen took 14th place in Gent-Wevelgem. “Once again there’s a lot of frustration. Oliver crashed halfway through and couldn't give his best in the final. That means we failed to be animators of the race. Still, Alexis Gougeard had a great day up front and was pretty close to being able to stick with the best until the end," said directeur sportif Julien Jurdie. Our team will participate to Brugge-De Panne on october 21st."
