Stephane Goubert : "Two beautiful races"
" Binche-Chimay-Binche is an authentic Belgian race, with cobblestones and a fantastic atmosphere. Overall the climb is tiring, and coming at the end of the season, it can all be pretty hard. With Oliver Naesen, whose end-of-season goal is Paris-Tours, we have a great card to play, and we come with a typical "Belgian classics" squad. Last year, Rudy Barbier won Paris-Bourges after a magnificent sprint. He certainly can repeat that success, and will be all the more motivated to do so since he will be leaving our team at the end of the season, and will be anxious to end his time with the AG2R LA MONDIALE team on a good note. These are two beautiful races that are important tests for a number of riders before Paris-Tours, which will require a rider of a different physiognomy now that nine gravel chemins have been introduced to the parcours.”STEPHANE GOUBERT
