"A little bit disappointed"

Tour du Doubs : Quentin Jaurégui 3rd

“I managed to be a player and animator, and it is a great satisfaction to get on the podium. I see that I have good sensations for the end of the season. In spite of everything, I am a little disappointed all the same. I think that I had it in me to get the win. There was not much of a gap at the finish, and the victory was possible. Now I will follow-up with a series of races in Belgium, and I hope there I will quickly be able to confirm this good form.”

"THIS EXPERIENCE WILL HELP IN THE FUTURE"

“The sensations were pretty good at the end of the Vuelta. I spent a lot of energy trying to go for a victory, though nothing paid off. I feel like I never gave up, and the team fought until the end.We have nothing to reproach ourselves about. I started my first Vuelta without any really solid objectives and with nothing certain in mind. I wanted to discover how I would react to a second three-week race in the same year. Even if the stage victory never materialized, I raced to win, and on certain stages I had the form to go for it.This big block of work will serve me well in the future. After a successful Tour de France, this Vuelta was just a bonus.”
